Silane GX-1160 is widely used in the following applications :
As an additive for sealants and adhesives .
As an additive to the epoxy resin, phenolic resin, melamine resin for foundry resins and abrasives.
As an additive for Fiberglass, coatings,paints etc.
Usage
It is suitable for epoxy resin, phenolic resin, urea-formaldehyde resin, polyurethane, polyamide, melamine, polyethylene butyral and other adhesives. It can be used as adhesion promoter, surface modifier, cross-linking agent and dispersant, mainly used to improve the bonding force and compatibility of inorganic mineral powder materials and fibers to polymers (resins) and the adhesion and water resistance of resin coatings to inorganic substrates. Including the modification of engineering rubber and plastic materials, paints, coatings, inks, casting resins, adhesives, sealants, glass fibers, abrasives and other industries.
